An associate with the firm’s Business Law and Corporate Finance/M&A practice groups, Brian has substantial experience in a wide array of transactional work.
He has been involved in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions of varying structure and size.
Brian advises business owners on matters related to the establishment, reorganization, structure, operation, and tax reporting requirements of their businesses. Brian also counsels S-corporation officers, directors, and shareholders to ensure compliance with all S-corporation requirements.
He provides counsel on wealth preservation, tax planning and business succession planning, working with business and farm owners to create tax-efficient succession or exit plans.
Brian’s practice is shaped by his experience with, and knowledge of, the financial and taxation aspects of the transactions in which he is involved. This experience and knowledge, as well as the multifaceted nature of Brian’s practice, help him guide his clients effectively through a broad range and complex mix of financial, tax, wealth preservation, and succession-related issues.
