“Understanding the Real Costs of Outsourcing Food Delivery” is a panel organized by Monroe Moxness Berg for the upcoming Food on Demand conference. The panel will discuss the costs of third-party food delivery, focusing on how aggregators can reduce labor and insurance costs for operators.
Topics to be discussed include the economics of food delivery and the potential economic advantages of using third-party delivery companies rather than the delivery drivers employed by the restaurant.
The panel will be moderated by MMB shareholder John Berg and will include Spencer Manke, CFO of ADF Companies, one of the largest Pizza Hut franchisees in the country; Rob Grimes, CEO of The International Food and Beverage Technology Association (IFBTA), a nonprofit trade association that promotes the use of technology within the global food and beverage industries; and Vishal Agarwal, founder and CEO of Checkmate,
a tech platform that funnels delivery orders directly into restaurants’ POS systems.
The Food on Demand Conference takes place on April 1-2 at Marriott Downtown in Chicago. For more information and to register, visit the conference page.
