Mae B. van Lengerich

Mae is an associate with the Litigation practice group, where she focuses her practice on business litigation matters and disputed trusts and estates.

Mae regularly works with for-profit and non-profit organizations, trustees, beneficiaries, and personal representatives.  She also uses the knowledge and experience gained from litigating lawsuits to reduce clients’ liability exposure, and assists clients with resolving disputes short of litigation.

Before joining the firm, Mae served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Kalitowski and the Honorable Denise D. Reilly, both of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

During law school, Mae clerked with the Civil Division of the City of Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, working on a wide range of litigation matters related to employment, real estate, civil rights, and tort law.   She also served as the managing editor of the University of St. Thomas’ law review and was a certified student attorney for the law school’s bankruptcy clinic.

Mae has been selected as Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2019.
