Monroe Moxness Berg is pleased to announce that Julie Duckstad and Erika Donner recently joined the firm as associates.
Julie focuses her practice in the areas of commercial real estate and environmental law. Her experience includes sales and acquisitions, development and leasing. She assists clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including real estate due diligence, title and survey and closing. Her environmental law experience spans corporate and real estate transactions. She works with national and local environmental engineers on issues involving Phase Is, Phase II’s, regulatory permitting and compliance. She has experience at the state level in brownfields redevelopment, clearance and assurance procedures, discharge permitting procedures, and enforcement actions.
Erika brings nationwide franchise industry knowledge and experience to her work with clients. She has spent her career representing domestic and international businesses of all sizes, from individuals who are just forming their businesses to multi-unit franchisees. She addresses a business’s transactional and regulatory needs in areas such as trademark, financing, disclosure, sales, acquisitions, leasing, post-contract-termination obligations, and general contract review and drafting. As a former litigator, she understands the risks associated with litigation and works closely with clients to help them understand those potential risks.
