In the August issue of Foodservice News, Dennis Monroe’s monthly restaurant review considers Revival, Nick Rancone’s and Thomas Boemer’s new restaurant at 457 Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis. While the review praises the restaurant’s menu that “gives the consumer great food at a great price,” its focus is on Revival’s overall business proposition, assessed on the basis of specific criteria (see the initial column in the series for more information). In this respect, the restaurant also passes the test with flying colors. “I think the overall chance for success of Revival for a five-year period (which I believe is a threshold),” Dennis concludes, “is very strong.”
