With more than 20 years of experience across the commercial real estate lifecycle, Jodi brings particular expertise to retail properties and self-storage facilities.  She also has experience working with complex organizations to close transactions such as state and local government, charter school and church governing bodies.

At Monroe Moxness Berg, Jodi collaborates with internal teams on real estate components of mergers and acquisitions, conducts thorough title review, and manages complex real estate transactions from due diligence through closing.

Jodi takes pride in her practical, client-first approach to legal challenges. She believes in identifying efficient solutions that move transactions forward while protecting her clients’ interests. Her experience spanning title insurance, construction disbursing, construction project management, and corporate legal counsel gives her a multifaceted perspective on commercial real estate matters. This allows her to offer clients valuable insights into potential risks and opportunities while guiding them through complex transactions.          

Prior to joining MMB, Jodi served as Director of Legal at KO Storage, where she spearheaded over $200M in self-storage facility acquisitions while developing standardized due diligence and closing processes. Her implementation of AI-assisted workflows increased efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and quality output. Jodi’s deep understanding of title issues, regulatory compliance, and risk management contributed significantly to the company’s rapid portfolio expansion.
