Monroe Moxness Berg’s Patricia Weller will be moderating and Dennis Monroe and Marcus Urlaub will serve as panelists for sessions at the upcoming Minnesota Real Estate Journal’s Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Investment Summit.
The in-person event will take place at The Club at Golden Valley, Golden Valley, Minnesota, from 8 a.m. to noon on October 30, 2025.
Patricia will moderate and Dennis will be a panelist in the “Working with your Commercial Real Estate Lender when challenges arise” session. The discussion will cover topics including anticipated loan covenant violations, problematic cash position of the borrowing entity or a guarantor, change in the entity structure of a borrowing entity or a guarantor, sale of the borrowing entity or guarantor, or acquisition of a target company, and the importance of good communication with your lender.
Patricia and Dennis will be joined by panelists Lee Anderson, EVP, Manager of Strategic Asset Management, UMB Bank and Sara Ausman, Senior Vice President, Professional Services, Commercial Banking, UMB Bank.
Marcus will be a panelist in the “Estate Planning and Legal Issues for Real Estate Owners” session. The discussion will cover legal and estate planning challenges for CRE owners with a focus on current and future market conditions.
Marcus will be joined by panelists Blake Nelson, Attorney at Law, Hellmuth & Johnson and Kyle Willems, Shareholder, Bassford Remele.
